Sunita Shouse is an international consultant, coach and entrepreneur with 24 years of strategic planning, leadership development, multicultural team development and operations experience in global profit and non-profit arenas. She is a senior leader and business partner experienced in designing and executing workforce solutions that align people performance with business strategy. Her passion is in growing quality businesses and promoting long-term, sustainable customer success. Managers, clients and peers have consistently acknowledged her keen insight, clear perspective, direct communication and balanced approach towards exceeding customer expectation and achieving business excellence.
Most recently, Sunita was President of her own human resources consulting business where she provided a broad range of organizational consulting, talent management, career/personal coaching, and business development expertise to clients in healthcare, retail, health & fitness, crop science and banking. Prior to embarking on her entrepreneurial endeavor, Sunita was Vice President, Career Management Consulting, at Right Management Consultants. In this role, she led the development, expansion and profitable growth of the Career Transition Business Unit servicing over 150 large multi-national companies in all industry sectors with operational and P&L responsibility for over $4.0M in annual revenue. In addition, she provided strategic life/career planning for both executive and professional level clients. Sunita was recognized as an excellent communicator with a unique ability to create balance between strategic goals, practical solutions and human relations. Industries she supported have included manufacturing, healthcare, telecommunications, information systems, higher education and the federal government.
Sunita also excels at group facilitation and has both created and co-authored experiential career management and leadership development modules to assist clients prepare for and engage in purposeful work in a world that demands continuous learning and career ownership. Sunita’s style is one of collaboration, respect for diversity, and authenticity in all she does. Sunita’s experience in management and consulting are further strengthened by her experience as both a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco, North Africa and a Captain in the U.S. Army.
Sunita earned a Master of Arts in Intercultural Management from The School for International Training, Brattleboro, Vermont, and a Bachelor of Arts in French from Connecticut College. She has been an active member of numerous professional organizations and community non-profit agencies. She is a seasoned marathoner and fitness fanatic.
