Stephanie helped support top talent leaders at Nortel Networks, Bank of America, GSK, IBM, Wachovia, and the State of North Carolina over the last twenty years. Stephanie’s in-depth knowledge and creative design of talent and development programs, as well as her motivating coaching expertise, differentiate her in the industry. In 1993, she began her own successful small business as a coach, consultant, seminar leader, and motivational speaker. She also worked for several years on contract as a certified associate with Drake Beam Morin, a major international outplacement consultant, providing career coaching for clients.
Stephanie graduated from North Carolina State University with a double major in Business Management and Economics. She later returned to NC State and completed a Master’s of Education (M.Ed.) in Adult Education and a M.Ed. in Counseling. She is a graduate of the coaching program with Coach University. In October of 2011, Stephanie will be (inspired by many of our Roving Coaches) a graduate of the Accredited Coach Training Program at the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).
Stephanie is also the owner of Flashpoint International where she supports visionaries and high achievers through coaching and speaking. An expert on the topic of being Unstoppable, Stephanie helps people understand that the most important relationship they will ever have is with themselves. Through that understanding, all other things are possible. She is a contributing author in the book, A Guide to Getting It: Achieving Abundance. Stephanie served on the board of the Research Triangle Chapter of the American Society for Training and Development for four years, including a stint as Chapter President. She is a member of International Coach Federation and ICF-Raleigh Area Chapter. Stephanie is also active in her community, having taught reading with the Wake County Literacy Council, and building houses with Habitat for Humanity. Stephanie honors her late husband, Ken, with her volunteer support of the Shriners Children’s Hospitals. Stephanie lives in Raleigh, NC, and has one grandson, two daughters, and three cats.
