Why did we choose such a gargantuan challenge? Because only the grandest vision would do for our team of starry-eyed dreamers.

The Roving Coach Story
One day in July 2009, CJ Scarlet had an epiphany that would one day change the world. She was expressing her frustration to a friend about the paucity of coaching for middle managers, and the conversation eventually shifted to more mundane topics. Then, apropos of nothing, CJ said, “You know what I ought to do; I ought to be a roving coach and do coaching for employees at all levels.”
And like Athena from Zeus’ forehead, the words leapt from her lips and landed with a thud onto the table in front of her. And CJ knew in that moment that she had a Million Dollar Idea. A $100 Million Idea to be exact. The clouds parted and angels sang. And CJ saw that it was Good.
CJ told her friend and business partner Stephanie McDilda about her $100 Million Idea and Stephanie also saw that it was Good. Then, two weeks later CJ and Stephanie met Nicoa Dunne when she was speaking at a luncheon. They were immediately enchanted by her energy and asked her to breakfast. At the end of an animated two hour conversation, CJ casually mentioned her idea for Roving Coach. Nicoa’s eyes grew wide as pie plates and she drew in a deep breath that ended with an explosive “Let’s do it!”
And they’ve been doing it ever since. And man, has it been Good.
