Basic RCI Coach Requirements
To be considered for an interview to become a Roving Coach, you must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a minimum of two years of coaching experience.
- A minimum of five years of corporate work experience.
- Completion of an International Coach Federation (ICF) or the Association of Coaching (AC) coach training program. Click here for the list of accepted ICF coach training programs. NOTE: This requirement may be waived for individuals who hold an ICF PCC certification. For European coaches, this may include an AC Accredited Executive Coach or EMCC Senior Practitioner certification.
- Compliance with ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics.
Following a screening interview, you will be asked to submit:
- A 30-minute sample recording of your work in an actual coaching session.
- A minimum of three recommendations from previous coaching clients, preferably within a corporate environment.
Post Selection Requirements
If you are invited to join RCI and prior to receiving a contract, you must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of iPEC’s Energy Leadership™ Index assessment Master Practitioner Certification. (For enrollment and discount information through Roving Coach, please click here.) Please be aware that this is a popular program and fills up early. Seats are limited.
- Completion of a Roving Coach Situational Coaching™ methodology training session.
- Demonstration of your knowledge and understanding of the Roving Coach Situational Coaching™ methodology by attending practice sessions and conference calls.
- Completion of an orientation covering the Roving Coach culture and philosophy.
- Provided proof of professional liability insurance.
- Signed partnership agreement.
